Apple has announced its new addition Apple Arcade, a subscription based gaming platform. Apple is catering to the mobile gaming market that has been growing over the past decade. Releasing in 2019, apple looks to curate 100 exclusive games for the platform with more to come at no extra cost. These games will be ad-free as well as playable offline with future downloadable content also coming with no extra cost. Ideas similar to Google’s Stadia, Apple arcade allows user to play their games on various apple related products like their phones, MacOS and Apple TV. It will be released to over 150 countries in the fall with titles such as LEGO Brawls and Doom Eternal being launch titles.
